On-Site Staffing Services is seeking Concrete Finishers with experience, someone that works with a sense of urgency. Communicates with the project lead to accomplish tasks efficiently and in the proper order. We require you to be able to rake, edge, trowel, and finish without being trained every step of the way. Support the concrete pouring by setting up forms, wheeling, digging, shoveling, puddling, striking off, and cleaning tools and equipment. The company does both commercial and residential in the Southeastern part of Wisconsin's surrounding areas.
We work in a small crew, we are looking for candidates who are hard-working, can get along with the rest of the crew and who are looking at growing with the company!!!
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Able to work under direct supervision, job duties may include but are not limited to building, laying out forms, and installing concrete foundation walls/flat work for agricultural, industrial, and/or commercial job sites.
· The Concrete Finisher is expected to assist in the general operation of each job.
· Finishing of poured concrete, such as floors, walkways, sidewalks, roads, or curbs etc. using a variety of hand and power tools
· Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, gutters, patch voids, and use saws to cut expansion joints
· Maintains orderliness and cleanliness and safety at jobsite
· Maintenance of all equipment and tools
· Follow Supervisor instructions closely and perform duties as told
IDEAL CANDIDATE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
· Dependable – more reliable than spontaneous
· Adaptable/Flexible – enjoys doing work and working a lot of overtime!
· Detail-oriented – would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger picture
· Autonomous/Independent – enjoys working with little direction
· 2 or more years of experience required.
· Able to travel to job site in and around the Southeastern Wisconsin
· Must be able to extend periods of standing, walking, stooping, and bending
· Must be able to climb ladder’s
· Must be able to effectively us all limbs for extended periods of time
· Position requires periodic lifting up to 50 to 100 pounds overhead
· Ability to understand written and oral instructions
· Ability to follow all safety standards and policies
· Understanding of all facets of concrete construction
· Must have steel toe boots
· Must be willing to travel

Salary: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour
Schedule:
Start time varies. The superintendent will provide all that information.
Monday to Friday
Overtime
Potentially Saturdays depending on workload.
