Munson, Inc. is looking for experienced grading professionals who understand that the finished product starts with proper prep work.
This isn’t basic dirt work. We perform commercial paving, residential paving, and specialty sport surface projects throughout SE Wisconsin where precision grading, drainage, and finish elevations matter. We’re looking for people who take pride in clean, accurate work and understand how important the base is to the final result.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Fine grading and site prep
- Operating skid steers, loaders, rollers, and grading equipment
- Reading grade stakes, elevations, and site plans
- Preparing stone base and subgrade for paving
- Working as part of a fast-paced paving or site crew
STRONGLY PREFERRED
- 3+ seasons of grading experience
- Experience grading for asphalt paving or sport surfaces
- Leadership or foreman experience
CDL REQUIREMENT
- Valid CDL Class A required
- Clean driving record required
- No major violations within the past 7 years (OWI, excessive speeding, etc.) to qualify for company vehicle use
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Fine grading and site preparation
- Preparing stone base and subgrade for paving crews
- Operating grading equipment safely and efficiently
- Working closely with paving crews to maintain production and quality
- Delivering clean work where the details matter and the finished product starts with proper prep
PAY & BENEFITS
- $47+/hr base wage (based on experience)
- Total compensation package valued at approximately $78/hr including pension, health insurance, disability coverage, vacation pay, and overtime opportunities
SEASON & SCHEDULE
- Full-time seasonal work
- Long days and weekend work required during peak season
REQUIREMENTS
- CDL Class A required
- Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work outdoors in all conditions
- Able to perform physical labor and work safely around heavy equipment
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
