Assistant Machine Operator - 2nd & 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Manually set up press, print, score, and die cut accurely in accordance with proper opering techniques and specs.
• Inspect all dies before and after a run to ensure any necessary repairs are made before the next run.
• Ensure all bolts for the die cut cylinder are in place and tightly secured.
• Monitor box quality including, but not limited to, loose liner, warp, correct size, die cut, and print.
• Become efficient in all aspects of the machine – pre-feeder, rotary press, bundle breaker, load former.
• Ink management skills/color adjustment (PH and Viscosity).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualificions

• High school diploma/GED required.
• The ability to multi-task and keep up with the pace of production while maintaining excellent quality and meeting machine efficiency goals for setup and run speeds.
• Strong communicion and teamwork skills.
• Mhemical and problem-solving ability, and an ability to effectively utilize a tape measure.
• Must be willing to work overtime as required including Surdays when needed.
