1960’s 7FT PICKETT DEMONSTRATION SCHOOL Slide Rule Display Sign

- The 7-foot slide rule was not a product sold to the public but rather a demonstration tool for educational purposes. It was used in classrooms to visually illustrate how smaller slide rules were used for calculations.
- These came in 4 foot and 7 foot versions.
- The stock and slide are of plywood (tongue and grooved), the end brackets are sheet aluminum. The cursor consists of pine wood with aluminum paint, with a clear plastic lens.
- Both sizes came with metal eye loops for hanging from a wall or ceiling.
