There is a washer on-site with both indoor and outdoor clotheslines for drying. Easy access to the #60 bus on Burleigh; 10 minute bike ride to Riverwest and the Outpost. Large organic garden, porch swing, and fenced-in yard with picnic table; garage with wood shop, sewing machine, and tools. Please note that you must love animals; the space is shared with a dog and multiple cats.
All genders welcome; couples ok. The vibe is DIY and alternative. Especially seeking artists and writers actively engaged in their work. House values embrace sustainable living, recycling, animal kindness, queer/gender equality, and social justice.
You should be
* mature, progressive, reliable,
* willing to participate in communal chores (1/2 hr per week)
* able to live at 14th and Burleigh
* able to provide 3 references (employer, former landlord, professional) for reference check
* able to provide evidence of ability to pay reliably and on time (check stubs, employment history, etc)
* last month's rent and security deposit required
