We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Part-Time Property Management Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our rental property portfolio. This role is responsible for ensuring rental processes run smoothly, ranging from collecting rent and processing applications to coordinating maintenance and preparing properties for new tenants.
Responsibilities
- Rent Collection: Collect, track and follow up on monthly rent payments. Assist tenants with payment-related inquiries.
- Property Coordination: Confirm rental properties are ready for new tenants; perform pre and post move in walk throughs.
- Vendor Management: Schedule and coordinate repairs and maintenance. Maintain and update a list of preferred vendors and service providers. Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely response to repair issues and routine maintenance.
- Work Order & Maintenance Management: Receive and manage maintenance requests from tenants. Assign and schedule work with preferred vendors.
- Tenant Applications: Review and process new tenant applications. Assist with screening and lease preparation.
- Finance Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team to ensure accuracy of rent rolls, expense tracking and vendor payments for multiple units and companies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of leases, maintenance logs, walk-through reports, and vendor agreements.
- Communications: Serve as the point of contact for tenant inquiries related to administrative, maintenance and general rental questions.
