Part time role in general office work at Euro-Tech Corporation on the Menomonee Falls/Brookfield/Butler borders. We are a small, friendly office selling and importing German tools and gages for precision aircraft/aerospace, automotive and transportation manufacturers around the country. Although this description may sound somewhat daunting, it can really be quite fun and challenging. If you have solid general office skills, you will succeed in this role. We will offer good training for the tasks which include:
Shipping and receiving:
Parcel and Freight (mostly small packages as many shipments go direct to the customer) to include domestic and occasional international shipping. Accurately filling out appropriate paperwork for secured and unsecured international shipments. Review of customs documents, verification of duty charges and disputing duty calculation if necessary. Tracking orders that are coming in from Germany, confirming they are clearing customs.
Service Orders:
Logging of repair orders and determining if they can be handled in-house or shipped back to the manufacturer for repair. Quoting for service.
Customer Portals:
Entering quotes into customer portals and receiving PO from the portals. Updating annual certifications on customer portals.
Data Entry:
Entering estimates into QuickBooks and invoicing orders from QuickBooks. Printing packing slips. Knowledge of Microsoft office, (Excel, Outlook and Adobe PDF) helpful. Verifying PO’s and terms on orders in QuickBooks and updating customer profiles. Splitting cost of shipments per order and allocating the cost per order.
Misc …
Able to work independently, assist with other office duties as needed. Organization skills are very important as there can be a lot of moving parts at one time. In other words, good organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
