I am the original owner of this piano. My family bought it from Cascio Music in New Berlin back in 1986. It served as my studio's main MIDI keyboard controller for over 30 years. Clean. Comes with original stand, damper (sustain pedal,) power cord, and owner's manual.
- 76 semi-weighted, touch-sensitive keys
- Four internal piano sounds w/ selectable chorus effect
- Built-in speakers
- MIDI In, Out, Thru
- Stereo audio inputs* and outputs
- Headphone output
- Tuning dial
One issue: The Eb4 key apparently has a dirty contact. Sometimes it plays normally, but at other times you have to press it harder to get it to sound. I don't have the time to disassemble this keyboard and tinker with maintenance, so I am selling it as-is — an excellent condition vintage digital piano with 1 out of 76 keys that sometimes needs to be played a little harder. If you have the time to fix the iffy key and are willing to wait a year or two for the right buyer of vintage instruments to come along, an HP-100 in this condition could fetch around $300. I just need to get it out of the house.

* Stereo audio inputs are especially convenient because you can route the audio output from another device, such as a sound module or audio interface, into the piano, allowing you to play sound modules and virtual instruments directly over the piano's built-in speakers.
