Up for sale is my Mackie 24-channel, 8-bus mixer with power supply. When my original Mackie 24.8 needed to be replaced in 2018 after 25 years of service, I was extremely fortunate to find this gem. This was a showroom demo model from a music store in Louisiana. It sat in a warehouse, boxed up and unused, for over two decades. I drove down to Louisiana to pick it up in person.
Since purchasing this mixer in 2018, I recorded and/or mixed 21 albums, EPs, and singles on it. Between sessions it remained covered in my smoke-free studio. I honestly believe that of all the Mackie 8-bus mixers you'll ever see being sold online, this one is as close to "like new" as you'll ever find. It works great and looks sharp. Comes with the rackmount power supply, but no optional accessories (stand, meter bridge, console lights, etc.)
One minor issue... the master fader fades down one side faster than the other. This is a known issue with these 8-bus mixers. (My original mixer did it, too.) In modern DAW studios, however, that won't affect the recording or mixing process.
$800 or best offer. Cash only.
(I also have a spare Mackie 8-bus power supply that I'm selling separately on Craigslist.)
