Excellent condition. Original case. Mid 60’s. For those who search for unbelievable bass tone. German sound quality and manufacturing.
Imported from Faust Music a historic music store in Bay view Milwaukee.
It is a true hollow body with a spruce top. Body lacquer finish is near perfect. A strap button was added at the heel otherwise 100% original including the pickguard.
No visible playwear, newer flats put on and set up, it plays like a dream. No neck adjustment has been needed in the years I've owned it which is amazing. Klira must never be confused with Hofner which was just down the road. I consider Klira as the father of Hofner. ( yes a Beatle guy played it. Marketing strategy?)
This Klira bass model really sound lively and is much preferred by those who own one, and by artists that are looking for that punchy and clear tone as well. Electrics clean and quiet, no issues whatsoever.
