I was checking out this amp at Music Go Round in Greenfield - a late '60s/early 70s blue-line Ampeg Gemini 12.
I foolishly waited to purchase it, in the hopes that it would dip in price below $479, since it had sat a long time and the tremolo was malfunctioning. And since it wasn't most players' cup of tea.
Thinking nobody else would buy it -
But it did sell -
On the off-chance that whoever bought it might be out there... and has decided it's not for them after all... or that another purchase captures their attention more, I'd pay $800 cash for this Gemini I / Gemini 12 to make it worth the while. Or come to an agreement of another amount / trade.
If you're out there, please hit me up!
I thought it was one heck of a special amp, really my style:
I love the speaker, the reverb circuit and after-beat tremolo, even the general aesthetic of it. I was hoping to replace the echo knob, repair the tremolo circuit, do a complete re-cap of the electrolytics, and keep it as a forever amp.
Even if you don't want to sell it, please consider keeping my contact info in the event that you'd sell it in the future.
