Catalfamo A-model mandolin w/ f-holes.
New. American-made.
Built in 2022 by now retired professionally-trained luthier Carlo Catalfamo.
Case included.
Revoiced by local luthier to improve overall sound production. If I were starting out as a mandolin player and didn't have much money, I'd buy this one over any of the cheap Chinese instruments pouring into the US from Communist China's factories.
Thin 4" crack in lower back - has been glued and is stable. Slight buldge in top caused by pressure from the tone bar underneath the top. Other blems but my luthier says the instrument is in sound condition and foresees no problems of any kind.
Price lowered accordingly.
