Original 1971 Fender Mustang Bass for sale.
Everything is original to the bass minus the body finish. All hardware, pickups, pots, pickguard, neck and body are original.
Neckplate dates to 1969 which is not uncommon in this era. Original pots date it to 1971 and so does the neck stamp date (photos on request).
Body was refinished in its original competition blue with stripe. When I got it, it was poorly refinished in white. Upon removing the finish, we discovered the original competition blue underneath. I have photos of this as well to prove the original color. Good quality body only refin, neck still has original finish with some finish cracking. Comes with the original silver/grey hard case. The case alone is worth like $400.
