Perform periodic, scheduled inspections and checks of equipment to determine whether failures or issues are present and determine how soon the corrections/adjustments may need to be made.
Assemble and disassemble machines to make repairs, perform inspections, and replace with new items while maintaining safety and production goals in mind
Troubleshoot equipment to identify root cause(s) and suggest appropriate follow-up actions
Identify failed components and determine necessary replacement parts
Interact directly with production and other plant teammates in a professional manner
Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to receive work instructions, identify parts that belong to machines, and fully document work performed
Comply with all safety and environmental protocols relating to operations
Locate spare parts in the storeroom and follow stock check-out processes
Maintain a dedicated toolbox and shared maintenance tools and supplies in an organized manner so that materials can be accessed quickly and reliably
