Emergency Restoration Specialists Inc is a growing Mold Remediation & Water Damage Restoration company looking for a reliable, hard-working technician to join our team. This position is heavily focused on mold remediation, with water damage restoration also part of the job.
Primary Responsibilities (Mold-Focused):
• Perform mold remediation in residential and commercial properties
• Build containment systems and maintain negative air environments
• Operate air scrubbers, & Drying equipemnt
• Remove wet-affected materials (drywall, insulation, framing, flooring)
• Perform surface cleaning
• Proper PPE use and safe material disposal
• Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites
• Document work performed (photos and notes) and use our Job site software programs
Water Damage Responsibilities:
• Respond to water damage losses (leaks, floods, backups)
• Perform water extraction and moisture control
• Set up and monitor air movers and dehumidifiers
• Assist with demolition and drying related to water losses
• Monitor equipment and job progress
Requirements:
• Mold remediation and/or water damage experience preferred (will train the right person)
• Comfortable wearing respirators and PPE
• Ability to work in crawlspaces, attics, basements, and tight areas
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• On-call availability for rotating emergency response
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
Certifications (Preferred but Not Required):
• IICRC AMRT / WRT / ASD
• Mold remediation or environmental cleanup experience
• Construction or demolition background
