Tested. All have a dial tone when plugged into my voice-over-internet device in place of my cordless phone base. Then, for each one, I dialed my smartphone number. The phone call completed on all but the Sears model. The Sears model seems to be an early touch tone model which, for each number, transmitted the corresponding sound of a rotary phone number. I think it was called something like a "pulse phone". Voice-over-internet does not support rotary phone tones.
