The purpose of this position is to perform the primary functions of a nurse in assessing, planning, directing, and evaluing pient care.  

• Plan, prioritize, and provide proficient, age-specific and developmentally/specialty approprie nursing care by applying advanced specialty clinical nursing knowledge and skills and for ensuring the comfort and safety of pients/families
• Follow physician's orders in the delivery of nursing care
• Maintain pient privacy and confidentiality of informion and records all times
• Adhere to required infection control, isolion procedures and aseptic techniques in the delivery of pient care
• Collect laborory samples and perform lab testing in accordance with established policies and procedures, as well as COLA and CLIA regulions
• Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures
• Assemble equipment and supplies for various diagnostic or trement procedures in the specialty service area; perform or assist others with procedures or trements 
• Handle care in accordance with legal, hospital/facility, departmental policies and procedures, and established standards of nursing care and practice, as defined by the Board of Nursing for th Ste.

• Perform all Quality Assessment activities assigned and document
• Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or manded meetings as required
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Associe’s Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN, preferred
• Current ste licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions, required
• 2+ years full-time RN experience in Telemetry/ICU, or 2+ years combinion experience in reled healthcare positions, required
• Current BLS and ACLS certificions from the American Heart Associion or American Red Cross, required; PALS strongly preferred (ENPC certificion from ENA may be substituted for PALS certificion)
• Position requires fluency in English; written and oral communicion
