condition: like new
make / manufacturer: Rebound Regear
Originally retailed for over $15,000 without any therapy garments.

The ReBound ReGenerator is a professional grade, clinical tool:

Consisting of a compact, portable ReGenerator unit, and a series of anatomically designed body-part-specific garments, ReBound is a revolutionary and simple-to-use heat therapy system that utilizes proprietary ReGear Diathermy RF wave technology to safely treat pain from within injured deep tissue.

The ReBound Therapeutic Warming System can be used to treat virtually any condition for which thermotherapy is indicated, including chronic pain, muscle spasms, and joint contractures. It can also alleviate pain associated with a variety of conditions, such as osteoarthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, fibromyalgia, soft tissue injuries, sprains, strains, muscle pulls, joint issues, tendon and ligament issues, tissue healing from surgeries, and others.

The ReBound Therapeutic Warming System is powered and controlled by the compact, portable, and easy-to-use ReGenerator. Simply connect the appropriate therapy garment to the ReGenerator, select your program, set the timer, and press the start button.

This diathermy design is superior to others because by treating your injury through the garment sleeve, your treatment area gets 360-degree treatment, instead of one small spot treatment of traditional diathermy machines. And with shortwave diathermy, the heat is generated and penetrates skin, muscle and bone up to 5 centimeters (2 inches) deep, much deeper and warmer than a normal heating pad. That's why diathermy is such an effective treatment and speeds the healing process.

This design is much easier to use than other diathermy machines. You wear a garment sleeve and power on the unit and select a treatment program. Other units require holding a probe against the area to be treated, or are large and on a medical stand/cart on a adjustable arm, a rather bulky piece of equipment for a home. The unit is 4 pounds, and easily used anywhere in your house. You aren't limited to where you can treat yourself, you can sit, you can lie down, wherever you want in just about any position where you can keep the treatment still.

Limb Therapy Garments are available in various circumferences. We can discuss what area(s) you need to treat and determine what size garment(s) will work best for you. Has a very easy to read and understand user manual, which you need to read and understand before using the machine.

Certain conditions are not to be treated with this machine. For example, its not recommended for people with pacemakers or internal metal implants. It's not recommended if you are pregnant or if the area you want to treat has an infection or open wound, or if the area to be treated is known/suspected to have cancer. It's not recommended for treating anything around the eyes or head.
