This chair has beautiful gracefully carved wood arms. The front legs are also elegantly curved and end in a claw foot. The rear legs have a slight curve to match the style. The had the chair professionally re-upholstery in a durable velvet-like modern fabric and finished with a delicate piping where the back and front fabric meet. The original brass nails heads are re-used to finish off the upholstery of the chair seat.
The chair is a generous 25" wide at the widest spot and 18/5" deep. The seat is 18.5" high. The back is 20" tall. It is very comfortable chair and will provide years of service.
You won't see this kind of wood detail in modern replicas of this chair. Similar chairs shown on websites like "Chairish" list for over $650. I'm asking $29 of best offer.
