This 1950s 2500 Watt generator “””””looks bad because somebody sprayed some green paint over the whole thing and now it’s chipping and flaking off””””
IT WORKS REAL FINE. . . hook the 12 volt Alligator clips to a decent car battery and turn the key. “Vrrrr-r-r-rooom” and it starts right up. Cool!
YES, IT LOOKS ROUGH; BUT IT RUNS FINE. The cheap overspray paint is flaking off in a lotta places. . . BUT UNDERNEATH THAT “quick sprayed green paint” is the original “Briggs” Diamond logo, “B” and “S” are stamped into the front flywheel guard (check the photos carefully). . . the serial # on the Alternator is G65. A very low number. This may be a collector’s item.
$75 is a good investment in a well made power plant from the ‘50s.
Made by “Master Mechanic Manufacturing Co.” and in Burlington, WI with a reliable Briggs and Stratton motor.
Has two (2) duplex outlet boxes, a key start ignition system (electric starter).
Great backup power for the cottage or the pole barn or wherever you need 120 volts.
2500 Watts will run an RV…., you need to add a 30 amp outlet to do that.
Think about it, email any questions.
Cash Only. . . $75
