The top shade is movable. You can pull it down the one side as it will go up on the other side. That way you can block the sun as it is rising in the morning or setting in the evening.
Some of the screws are missing or damaged as I was taking it apart. I do not believe there is anything that could not be fixed or replaced.
I have left the top completely put together. If you have a trailer you could take it assembled and simply put the legs on when you get home.
