Adjustments Transaction Processor

Locion: Onsite – Milwaukee, WI
Pay Re: $17.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (or until daily work is completed). Overtime may be required.

Position Overview

The Adjustments Transaction Processor is an entry-level, onsite role responsible for performing a variety of transaction processing and account adjustment activities. This position supports business operions through accure da entry, document processing, and account reconciliion while following established procedures and guidelines.

A typing assessment is required for this role.

Typing Assessment Requirement

• A typing assessment (minimum 40 WPM) will be sent via email after applicion completion
• Candides must also complete a typing assessment during the interview process

Key Responsibilities

• Post payments and adjustments to customer accounts
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies
• Set up debts and process account adjustments
• Reissue checks; process stop payments and EFT payments
• Run and review reports
• Contact employers or payors to obtain additional payment informion
• Prepare and send letters and outbound correspondence
• Ensure accounts are balanced prior to transmitting da
• Perform high-accuracy da entry with discretion
• Sort, image, archive, and classify documents by form type
• Identify documents and their purpose; cree and maintain dabases
• Capture and verify da according to client and contract requirements
• Verify da extracted from automed tools
• Transmit processed da to the approprie next level
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualificions

• Must be least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED required (some college preferred)
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Strong tention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed procedures
• Comfortable sitting for long periods while working a computer
• Strong computer and da entry skills
• Quick learner with the ability to multitask
• Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, accounts receivable, or accounts payable is preferred
• Vocional training, certificion, licensure, or equivalent experience may be required in some areas

 Pay Transparency Laws in some locions require disclosure of compension and/or benefits-reled informion.  For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to locion, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimed hourly re for this role is $17.50
