This JBL E-140-8 is one of the most desirable and best sounding Vintage JBL 15" Bass Speakers ever made. The E140 is capable of producing extremely high sound pressure levels with an efficiency that's unmatched by any other bass speaker. JBL used these in there Cabaret Series Speakers plus others used as an option in there Bass Guitar Speakers. All of my E-140-8 Speakers came from JBL Cabaret Speakers and all made in 1986. These have both efficiency and power handling, what a wonderful combination. Rated at 200 Watts Continuous Sine Wave plus 100dB/1W/1M efficiency make these 15" speakers a true contender for any application. Cast Aluminum basket and copper voice coil is 4 inch. These weigh in at over 22lbs each. If you are putting together a vintage JBL home speaker system or have a keyboard or bass guitar speaker system you want to put these gems into they are sure to please.
