Folks this Dynaco ST70 is ready for years of pleasure and sounds wonderful with no hum or distortion, just Audiophile tube sound. Excellent condition and all transformers are the early (more desirable) cloth wrap wires. Driver board is a PC-3 that uses 6GH8 so no need to try to find 7199 tubes, HUGE UPGRADE. Tubes are matched quad of JJ and matched by APEX that sell for $150/set. Electrolytic filter capacitor was upgraded with Dynakit 80/40/30/20uF @525 for extra reliability plus more capacitance for better low frequency plus background quiet as a mouse. GZ-34 tube has been upgraded to solid-state plus bias selenium also upgraded to solid state. When upgrading bias supply you also upgrade filters, upgrade to (2x) 100uF @ 450vdc. This ST70 is vintage 1961 and chassis is still stunning. Modifications where made for sonic improvement plus reliability. This is the ST70 you want. I will demo prior to purchase. Thanks//Larry
