We are hiring for a 2-3yr old teacher to join our team
Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.
NO WEEKENDS

At Only God Can Children's Academy, we believe in learning through play.

The 2–3 Year Old Teacher is responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment for toddlers and young preschoolers. The teacher will plan and implement engaging lessons that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth while fostering independence and self-help skills. This role requires patience, creativity, strong communication skills, and a commitment to partnering with families to support each child’s growth and development.

Requirements:

Education & Credentials
• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• CDA (Child Development Associate) credential, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred, may be required depending on state regulations).
• State-required childcare training hours of
Fundamentals of infant and toddlers
Introduction of the Child Care Profession
Skills and Strategies
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Experience
• At least 1 year of experience working with toddlers or preschool-age children (preferred).
• Knowledge of child development milestones and age-appropriate practices.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Classroom Management & Safety

Ensure the safety, supervision, and well-being of all children at all times.
Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom environment.
Follow all licensing, health, and safety regulations.
Curriculum & Instructions
Plan and implement daily lesson plans that support age-appropriate developmental goals.
Introduce children to early literacy, math, science, art, and music through hands-on activities.
Support language development through songs, stories, and conversation.
Provide opportunities for gross and fine motor skill development.

Child Development & Guidance

Foster social-emotional growth by teaching sharing, cooperation, and problem-solving skills.
Support toilet training and self-help skills with patience and encouragement.
Use positive guidance techniques to redirect challenging behavior.
Observe, document, and assess developmental milestones for each child.

Family & Staff Communication

Communicate daily with parents regarding their child’s activities, progress, and needs.
Maintain portfolios and progress reports for parent conferences.
Collaborate with co-teachers and staff to ensure consistent care and learning.

Professionalism & Growth

Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development.
Follow center policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
Demonstrate professionalism and a passion for early childhood education
