This 1975 “square body” is rare find. The Sierra 15 long bed half-ton pickup truck plied the streets of suburban Seattle, where it seldom snows and roads are not salted. It performed “light duty” by filling in when another family vehicle was in the shop or a large item needed hauling. In 2000 and at 115K miles our friend Norm, a professional truck mechanic, reset the vehicle to “as built” condition by replacing most everything including a new Mr. Goodwrench 350 CID long block V-8 engine, new 2 barrel carburetor, rebuilt transmission, rebuilt radiator (sized for a big block), fresh belts and hoses, shocks, brakes, and etc. An upholstery shop reconstructed the seat using brand new but original fabric. The factory installed AM radio still connects to an antenna hidden in the windshield. The original GMC medium blue paint was professionally applied and it was only driven 10K miles since then. Always garaged, it now resides near Rhinelander (four hours north of Milwaukee), and is gently driven for a week or two each summer. The tires need replacement based upon age. The seller is offering a credit so the new owners can select their favorite style. Priced to sell at $17,950.
