1951 Crosley Sedan Delivery/Panel. This is an actual truck, not a wagon converted to a panel. It had a 60HP Ford V-8 flathead in it. The motor was stuck when I got it. Motor is now loose but needs to be rebuilt. I believe the rear end is a Ford nine inch.
I bought the truck as it sits. I have no history as to what was done to it. It appears to be pretty solid. No rot. It looks like the floors in front were replaced ( a nice job in my opinion ) Rockers might have been replaced. Bottom of doors are solid.
Nice ladder suspension in the rear. It looks like the frame has some reinforcing done to it. Has the factory straight axle in front. It sits high so the oil pan would clear the axle. ( kind off has the stance of a gasser )
The paint and bodywork is marginal in my opinion. ( wavy ..... not real straight ) I don't see where there is any major patchwork on the body. Glass is good except the drivers door glass is cracked.
I have about $4,750 invested in the truck. I am taking offers. No big hurry to selling it. It's time to thin the herd. We'll see what kind of interest/offers come along. I have more pics if interested. ( I'll add engine pics soon. )
