Yes, we know these are not new and show they've been used outdoors for many seasons. But, they are solid as rocks and have years of service remaining.
These motorboat stands are designed to be placed under the chines of powerboats. During storage most of your vessel's weight is carried by blocking under the keel. With that in place your stands support the chines providing stability. We placed a 2' x 2' sheet of plywood (not included) under each stand to provide additional stability on our asphalt parking lot.
