these were "the" touring pedals in the 1970's and 80's
they have the ridge on the back side of the pedals for use with the slotted cleats (that is really old school, remember when the soles od your cycling shoes were wooden and the cleats were nailed onto the sole.... ah, another time)
Plastic clips, size L I think, I may have some metal ones if you prefer
axles spin freely
