I am not certain of the year of this motor or the horsepower. I believe that the serial number plate is missing as I "think" that it should be on the gas tank. The latest patent date on the flywheel is 1916 and I looked at pictures of a 1916 on the internet and it looked similar, however, I can NOT guarantee the exact year as I am not an Evinrude expert. I used 1916 as an educated guess. If you know different, please contact me and I will update my listing, Thanks!
I have no idea if parts are missing. I know the gas cap is missing. I placed a white plastic cap over the hole to keep things out of the tank. When I turn the flywheel, the propeller turns. I have NOT tried to start it, I purchased it as decor and was going to shine it up and display it in my house. That was idea #462 on my list and I didn't get to it so I decided to sell it. I took a bunch of pictures so that hopefully you can see what you need to see. There is a plate (see picture) that I believe states "39A" but I am not sure what that means. I noticed a weld on the motor side opposite of the handle, see pictures. I have no idea if that is critical or not?
The motor stand is not included in the price.
I live in the Hartland area near the intersection of Hwy 16 and Hwy 83.
I do NOT own a cell phone so would appreciate inquiries being made via email. I will reply to questions in the order that I receive them. There are periods of time when I do not have computer access. Please be patient as I will answer EVERY inquiry. Thanks! If the posting is live, the motor is still for sale. I would expect the potential buyer to want to inspect the motor before making a decision. Cash Only Please!
