This is the first boat I learned how to drive a boat on. The only reason for parting with it is that I grew out of it—it’s just not big enough for my family anymore.
🔧 Upgrades & Work Done:
Replaced the wood in the transom with treated wood.
Added a thin metal plate between the wood and the aluminum cap for extra motor support.
Applied Flex Seal as a tinker project (though I didn’t really need to).
⚠️ Condition Notes (full transparency):
No motor included.
Boat has a couple of issues:
Minor leak: after a whole day on the water, about ½” of water comes in. I haven’t water-tested since putting down the Flex Seal.
One section of stringer (about 8” long) came off. I had a trailer shop press down the edges where it broke off. A simple rubber floor mat covers it just fine—problem solved.
🚤 Trailer:
NICE 2014 Karavan trailer.
Adjustable length.
Low maintenance.
🤝 Other Notes:
Not in a rush to sell, but open to reasonable offers.
