For sale is a 2024 Specialized Sirrus X4.0, size medium. I bought this bike last year because I could no longer ride my drop-bar bike due to a spinal issue. The problem has gotten worse and I can no longer ride. I've ridden it a total of 165 miles so it's just about brand new. I paid $1,500 for the bike, which included a rear rack and extra springs for adjusting the front shock absorber (I've left it at its softest setting). In addition to the bike itself, you get the following items:
- Your choice of pedals
- A frame-mounted air pump ($90 value)
- A Cateye Double Wireless computer (with cadence - $100 value)
- All documentation
- Bar-end handles (whatever those horn things are called)
- A clamp-on water bottle cage
- An extension for the rear rack (came with the rack)
When I bought the bike I found it very squirrelly and realized it was due partly to the front geometry and partly to the long handlebars. So I cut off 65 mm from each end to get close to the span of my old drop bar. This greatly improved the bike's handling.
