There is a part that slide out on the side of air conditioner that brook off......The rest is ok . Duck tape or cardboard will work great when you put it in window. ...See picks..... Set back and cool off and think all it needed was a little duck tape..,,,, Coo;ing capacity...... 6.000 Btus
