I'm looking for individuals who bring something unique to the studio. That means I'm open to wrinkles, saggy or weathered skin, extra pounds or maybe even not enough pounds. Scars, piercings and tats are OK too, as long as you are adventurous. People of average weight are height are welcome, but no one need feel excluded based on physical attributes or age: mature inquiries are as welcome as 20-somethings.

I have ongoing projects for which I need artist's models (meaning individuals who are open to several trips to the studio). The "work" is easy -- spend a few hours in studio posing on the business side of a camera lens. When you're done, you may still feel as if you've been doing 4 hours of yoga -- but consider that a positive health benefit. :-)
These are time-for-CD shoots (you get copies of the images in exchange for the fun/experience/challenge of doing a photoshoot). I primarily shoot weekdays during the day. -- I make exceptions for compelling arguments but there aren't many of those.
If you've wondered what it would be like to do a photoshoot and never thought you were the right type, or age, or shape -- fill out my model inquiry and let's see -- you might be surprised. This work is about the model, it is not high-fashion or glamour. If you are proud of who you are, or perhaps struggling to GET proud of who you are this might be just the fun opportunity for you.

The video is for a song of an offensive nature. There will be some physical contact involved, though no nudity or anything explicit. It's a mix between Slim Thug's video for "3 King's" and Usher's video "Trading Places". Look these up on youtube to get an idea of the video.

Student Cinema Action Network (SCAN) - A UW Milwaukee student organization is hosting an open casting call for actors to be included in our talent database. The goal of the database is to connect local film makers and actors. Generally the database is used by student film makers (thus usually not paid work) but we are making an effort to reach out to all local film makers.
Actors are encouraged to prepare a short monologue which will be recorded and placed online. If you choose not to perform a monologue we will record a short clip of you describing your acting experience (although none is required!) and list of special skills. Things like being able to speak a foreign language, character voice, accents etc.

SUMMARY: Error Report is a new sketch comedy show now shooting its pilot. The format borrows more from the British tradition sketch comedy from the mid 90s (Big Train, Snuff Box, Jam, and so on) than that of the American- namely, sketches shot on location with a dedicated cast of actors not directly formed from a previously existing comedy troupe. Thus, the need for this casting call.
The show's content can occasionally get somewhat dark, so be forewarned- however, it's nowhere near as dark as any of the British shows it takes some of its cues from (Jam in particular is just a descent into a Lynchian nightmare world. I wouldn't recommend checking it out without a consoling friend on standby). We here on the writing team guess we're just old softies at heart, but of course we WOULD say that.
The casting call itself is accepting any variant of "human" willing to show up because, as a sketch show, the characters within the show compromise many different variants of human themselves. Some are intentionally written without any bias in this respect to broaden the range of actors who can play them. We're looking for a cast of about six or seven to perform multiple characters in the show, and as far as acting style goes, we're attempting to convey a feeling of "understated", or at best, "realistic". As the old saying goes, jokes are serious business.
As a television pilot being shot on spec (by a group of people mostly unaffiliated with 'the biz', as it were), we'll be unable to pay you anything up front, or rather anything we could offer you would be so inconsequential as to be nothing more than a show of good faith. However, if you note, we did say there were going to be free donuts at the casting call, and donuts are unabashedly delicious. Just think of all the wondrous (and nourishing) food items that you may be provided with over the course of this shoot- it doesn't stop at donuts! No sirree.
