Looking for a subleaser from December 1st to May 31st. House is a duplex at 3032 N Downer, half a block south of Kenwood. We have the upper which is 4 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom. My 3 roomates are all female and in the education program at UWM. Its less then a 10 minute walk to the union from the house and its right down the street from Quiznos, the panther book store, and the tanning place. Rent is $400 a month which INCLUDES HEAT AND ELECTRICITY! Cable/internet is $25 a month so the monthly budget is really a great deal. There is a washer and dryer in the basement, but the washer has been having some issues which should be fixed shortly. Our unit gets 1 parking spot in the driveway and one in the garage, but with one of the tenants below only being in town for business every 5 weeks we are able to park a 3rd car in the driveway that blocks the other tenants garage spot. Only 2 of my 3 roomates have cars here so if you have a car you should be able to replace where I have been parking. My roomates are really nice and like to keep the place clean, but they do like to have people over and throw parties occasionally. This apartment is in Tosa Village apartments and has 2 nice sized bedrooms with very nice sized closets. One of the bedrooms has a master bathroom with a walk in closet. Since every room has its own electric heater, heat is super cheap in this place. Summer utilities were around 65 bucks a month with the air on all the time. In the winter the utilities were about 85 bucks a month if you watch the heat close and turn it down when your not there. The apartment has a balcony with patio door, small dining area, nice windows in the bedrooms, blinds, and garbage disposal. There is also a maintenance guy that is available all the time. The land lord is very helpful and will work out any problems that you might have. Parking is free and there are lots of places to park since it is located on a private road. You never have to plow since there is an on site apartment manager that takes car of all of that. This is a PERFECT place for two people or a couple to live that is cheap. This would make a great spot for any students as well. There are a lot of bars and restaurants in the surrounding area in tosa as well which you can walk to.
