I have a spacious 1-bedroom apartment on the Marquette campus, 1 block away from the Alumni Memorial Union. The apartment has hard stone flooring throughout, plenty of windows/sunlight, and great closet space! There is a large closet in the bedroom and another next to the bathroom. That closet is so large that my boyfriend put his upright piano in there and that's where he plays! The kitchen comes with a stove and fridge, and there's enough room in the kitchen for a table and chairs. The apartment is very quiet! It's a great place to relax and study. The building is safe and secure, and there is a good mix of students and non-students. There are coin-operated laundry facilities in the basement, as well as a secure storage facility. The building is clean and well-maintained by the friendly and helpful building manager. Street parking is available for about $40 per year by purchasing permits from the city. It is not hard to find a spot! The rent is $545, which includes all utilities except electricity and cable. Cats are allowed!
