This unit is about 13 feet wide by about 7.5 feet tall (160 inches wide by 91 inches tall). Easily removable from the ground for winter storage; just lift the two uprights out of the ground (it is held upright via short pipes pounded into the ground that the uprights fit into), and move it. Requires two people, of course, since the poles are over 13 feet apart! Try to ignore the fence in the background if you can! Sorry about the picture... it is the best I could do.
Net is in nearly perfect condition (nylon). No broken strands, etc.
Numerous large thick rubber bands hold the net to the poles to give it the rebounding effect.
Uprights are made from sturdy ¾” metal plumbing pipe, and the upper horizontal section is ½” metal plumbing pipe. It is not made from cheap electrical conduit piping that bends easily (I learned the hard way!). The metal “T” connectors are rusted, but that won’t affect the unit at all. You could just tape them up with electrical tape, if it bothers you!
It has four orange plastic stakes (with yellow nylon ropes) used to secure it to the ground so the ball properly rebounds back to you. Without them, the entire net/frame assembly would absorb all the energy of the ball hitting it. You can make it more or less “springy” by adjusting the stake positions. My daughter is a star starting player for her indoor soccer team (but is now a senior), and she loved it. The uprights are not in the ground for the picture, of course. They are hung up out of the way so I could mow the lawn.
I can deliver and install for you, for an extra $15. You would also pay 50 cents a mile transportation charge from your place to mine (I’m near 99th and Good Hope in Milwaukee, 53224). Or you can pick it up if you desire. Shoot me an email and make me an offer I can’t refuse!
