I have a room available in my Tosa house. (not a duplex, you'd be my roommate). You'd have a bedroom on the first floor, 10X12. You'd have a second room (also on 1st) to yourself to do what you wanted with (office, etc). Alternatively, you could rent out the finished basement--currently a rec room--for the same price, it's 30X18, and use it as a really big studio.
You'd obviously have full access to the common areas--living room on the 1st floor, kitchen, yard.
My bedroom takes up the whole second floor.
I have dogs, it's okay if you have one (well-behaved) dog with additional deposit. No cats, sorry.
