My roommate is moving to Madison for a job so I'm searching for someone to take his place. He owns the house we live in now, so he would become our landlord. He's remodeled the lower bathroom and the bathroom upstairs is in the process of being fixed up from a half to a full bathroom. He also added a sun-room in back of the house which is great during the summer. He's also planning on adding a heater out there so it can be used in the winter, too =)
The house is all hardwood floors downstairs. The stairs leading up to the office and the office are carpeted, but the bedroom is wood flooring.
Water is included in the rent, and the WE Energies bill is $70 a month (each, for two people) on the budget plan. There is a garage with one parking spot behind the house, and a basement with free laundry facilities and lots of storage.
Everything is more or less furnished downstairs, all you would have to do is take care of what you want upstairs.
I think ideally this would be a good deal for couples or two people who want to split the bedroom and office upstairs. I'm open to having either a male or female roommate. I've had both and don't prefer either as long as they are at least as clean and organized in the common areas (I could care less what your bedroom looks like).
About me: I'm a 20 year old male. I work full time as a bartender and go to school full time at UWM. I'm not home too often because I'm busy and I don't typically have people over. I'm pretty quiet at home but I'm still friendly and outgoing.
