I'm as white as they get, actually I am more pail than most white guys! I grew up on a farm in Central Wisconsin. I work my butt off everyday delivering products to grocery stores, I'm no egg head or elitist. I met Barack and Hillary when they were campaigning here in Wisconsin and he came across to me to me MUCH more sincere about knowing and genuinely caring about the struggles that people like me, a working-class white American, endure every day. My priest (I'm Catholic) has said a lot of things that I don't agree with and that would be downright offensive to non-catholics if someone heard him saying them. I don't hold his views on some things but I respect him as a minister and frankly it's tough leaving the church I spent the last 14 years. So don't tell me that Obama is racist because of that man I don't buy that for a second. And about bitter small town folks... I AM BITTER. I don't have a lot of guns and I'm not a bible freak, but I pretty much cling to my ATVs and Snowmobiles when I'm feeling depressed about my job or that I'm not where I want to be in life... He is right on about that, didn't piss me off at all. So you can take your opinions and stick 'em, because I'm sure you didn't meet the man and you probably don't get any more information that what Fox News feeds into your brain. Barack Obama will be the next President, and he will be one of the greatest we've ever had. BET ON IT.
