To Elmer on various things.

Elmer, I really enjoyed your reply - I will keep in 'like tone' as long as you do.
"You, ERT, are a curious paradox: you read more book[s] about biblical accounts
...than most christians do ...except you do it for the purpose and motive of
attacking and undermining christianity."
That's the Thomas Paine way - he is the man who set my mind free from the bonds
of christianity. You see, I was raised in a very religious family, and we also
had a lot of tragic events in our family. Those circumstances made me, at one
time (believe it or not), a very religious person. As a matter of fact, I was
even studying to become a minister, at one time - this of course meant that I
was doing a lot of reading of the bible.
It is ironic how came to longer believe in the bible: It was the writings of David Barton and William Federer, of all things, that lead me to examine the
writings of Thomas Jefferson and other American Founders. Barton and Federer's
books presented a Thomas Jefferson that was very different than what I receiv-
ed in Public Schools. I went to investigate and found that the Public School's
version was an accurate, although watered down, version of Jefferson. (Federer &
Barton's version was a complete pack of lies, BTW.) At any rate, it was Jeffer-
son's work that referred to Thomas Paine often. Being so pleased with Jefferson
I thought I would check out Mr. Paine's work - I then discovered "The Age of
Reason," as well as his other theological works, and within a matter of weeks
(perhaps days) I was set free of the bondage of trinitarian christianity.
I work against christianity because it is a foreign religion, foreign to
western civilization - a polution in our society that needs to be removed.
I find it funny - your graphic at the bottom of your post: 'Communism - it's a
party.' The father of modern Communism was Carl Marx - another ex-christian
minister. Even funnier - he was a communist because of the teachings of jesus
christ - the true father of communism.
"Your theory that MeMe is the same person who lead the flagging attack also
crossed my mind ...My inclination was to take MeMe at (his) word that MeMe is
a male."
With a name like MeMe, it's so much more likely the poster is female or else
a raving queen. MeMe is always righteous and holy - 'I don't hate you...' she
said, but then insulted me by calling me a 'little fuzy bunny.' If you don't
hate MeMe, it's just because you don't know her well enough. Trust me, over
time, you too will hate MeMe, like everyone else who has encountered her on
CL Milwaukee.
"I must conclude that you conceal your racism when serving the Hillary cam-
paign." Sad but true - I don't like a lot of things about the Clintons, but
they are the best we currently have, sad to say. There is still hope of a
great split in the Democratic Party, this summer - I'll have to keep my fingers
crossed on that one.
"I will reconsider your denial of 'troll' status." That would be nice, at least
for the sake of accuracy. And on that matter, drop the "Evil" part, too. If you
had suffered half of what I have, at the hands of blacks in my lifetime, you
would be a white racist, too.
BTW- 'Elephant in the room' post - (Prothink.org), not mine.
