alrighty i just moved here from southern california. ive been wanting to get a band together since ive been here and id like to start something serious. i do have a very open mind when it comes to music, but at the moment these are my major influences: the lawrence arms, gaslight anthem, old alk3, and hot water music. by no means do i want to start a band that sounds just like or a combo of any of those bands. thats just who im into at the moment. anyways im looking for a bass player and a drummer. possibly a 2nd guitarist. if you sing as well thatd be awesome. im not looking to be a front man and i love the versatility of having multiple vocalist. if you wanna get a taste of some of the songs ive recorded lately check out www.myspace.com/newyorktaxi67 rough and mostly mellow but you'll get an idea
