I have a vintage silver ring, manufactured by UNCAS. It is signed "Sterling" and has the Uncas "U" with an arrow through the "U" stamped inside the band.
Uncas began to manufacture in the 1920s and was still in business through the 60s. The Uncas Ring Co. was located in Providence, Rhode Island.
This ring has an oval cut faceted onyx, framed by four branches. I have never seen a design quite like this before. It is small, perhaps a size 5. I am sure it could be easily resized to fit your needs.
