I have recently graduated from college and got a job in Northwest Milwaukee. Most of the nice apartment buildings are booked and I want somewhere to move into by the 23rd of May (when my lease is up). This way I have all summer to find a permanent apartment.

The main areas I am looking for are; Eastside Downtown/Shorewood, Brookfeild, Wauwatosa, Menomonee Falls, or New Berlin.

I think most of my luck will be with the downtown/UWM area because students will be heading home for the summer leaving empty apt's behind.

I have a friend looking to live with me also, we could squeeze into a big 1BR or else would prefer a 2BR..... No room mates preferably.

Here's the deal.. Before we got married, my wife was married to a deadbeat who didn't think that working was really something he wanted to try. She got sick of supporting him and decided to leave him. He lived in the house for about eight months with a $1,700 mortgage piling up. When she found out that he didn't make ONE mortgage payment she took him to court and got him kicked out and we got the house roughly twenty thousand in the hole!!

During the last year we have payed ten thousand of the twenty off.


She called the mortgage company two weeks ago and we set up a plan where we would pay $3,000 and the ten thousand would be put on the back of the loan.


We thought everything was PERFECT again. Well, we called the mortgage company last tuesday to check and make sure that everything went through and were HORRIFIED to find out that because her ex-husband wouldn't sign a quit claim deed taking himself off the house, the deal was off the table!!!!! There will be a sheriffs sale on Monday, May 19th at 9am!!! We have to move all of our stuff out by sunday night. We have nowhere to live! We are both in our late twenties and neither of us have lived at home with our parents since our teens!!



We both have full time jobs. we are very respectful of our neighbors. both have great references. It's almost impossible to find somewhere to live in like a week!! We have a dog and two cats that are all well behaved. NO accidents. We wouldn't let that happen in our house, and we wont let that happen in your house or townhouse!!!


Again, we both have full time jobs, so the rent money isn't a problem along with the security deposit. We fully understand that there may be a larger deposit with the animals. I have no problem with that as I am 100% confident that our animals arent the type to dump on the carpet or anything of that nature!

Our family includes an infant, a spayed cat, and a neutered dog (no Pit Bull or Rottweiler in the mix). We have excellent credit and income, and four years of experience as homeowners caring for and improving an 80-year-old home. We understand that some landlords are wary of pets and thus we are willing to pay extra for a security deposit, pay pet “rent,” and assume financial responsibility for any damage our pets cause to person or property (our pets do not have a history of causing any damage to housing or people, and are good-tempered – our dog is older and laid back). We are responsible pet owners and clean up after our pets. We are nonsmokers.

WHAT We Want: At least 1100 square feet, rent in the $1000-$1500 range, nearby cheap parking for 2 cars (preferably off-street), at least 2 bedrooms, no more than a 30-minute commute downtown in typical traffic. Laundry on-site, storage space (either closets or on-site storage unit), nearby green space (either a yard or nearby park). My daughter and myself are in need of a duplex (preferably) or
apartment by August 10 - at the latest. Due to my upcoming divorce
and financial issues with our Waukesha home....we need to move
as well as start a new journey.

Would like a caretaker situation or reduced rent, or would consider a
roommate. I am trying to re-establish our lives in a positive,
stable environment, near elementary schools. We are considering
getting a little "yorkie" dog as we love pets...so if pet friendly,
we would be so appreciative. But will be flexible.

Have prior experience as a caretaker and a part-time professional job, but
some weeks work up to 32hr-40 hr. per week. We also stay active with fun
family oriented activities; lakefront, bike riding, church, school
activities....so we arent' around that much(for roommate) but would be
responsible with caretaking duties. Integrity is impt. to us!

I prefer to be centrally located.
