Calling All Harry Potter Fans: Muggle Quidditch (UW-Milwaukee )

Harry Potter is an international phenomenon, inspiring music, fanfiction, art and more. One of the major things cross over from JK Rowlings fictional world is the sport of Quidditch. In 2005, Middlebury College stared a Muggle Quidditch team and the sport has caught on on over 100 campuses forming the Intercollegiate Quidditch Association (IQA), including UW Madison, UW Parkside, UW Superior, and Marquette. The IQA and Muggle Quidditch was recently featured on various news oulets including the CBS News, MTV, the Boston Globe, and many more. There is some interest at UW Milwaukee to start a team to begin in the Fall 2008 semester. Until then, we would like to see how much interest there is among UWM students.
