Summer Theater Conservatory 2008
July 14th – August 2nd

Join the Rep this summer for our three-week Summer Theater Conservatory. This program is designed to allow students aged 15 – 18 the opportunity to experience intense actor training taught by professional actors and directors.

This year’s Summer Theater Conservatory will be focused on Shakespeare. Students will receive rigorous pre-collegiate training in text work, vocal techniques, and stage combat. The three weeks of training will culminate in a Showcase Performance featuring all participants in scenes, monologues, songs and fights from various Shakespeare plays.

“I came into this program hoping to grow as an artist. At the end of the program, I auditioned for a show and I could notice a difference. My audition seemed better and more solid. I was so surprised about the difference of three weeks.”

New this year! College credit is available to high school students through UW-Parkside.

Fee: $700 non-credit; $1100 college credit (2 credits)
