Hello potential Space loaner! I'm a ceramic artist attending college at UWM for a double major in Ceramics and Art Education. Currently, I am working on a research study that will focus on developing clay bodies and their effect on particular glaze applications.

I am in need of studio space to work on my research that for about 12X24' of space. I would love to work with another artist that possibly has a gallery/studio already. I don't have funds to throw around as all my money (that isn't going to books and tuition) is going into the research study (and it's getting very expensive, but I've been getting a lot of support lately).

I have the following equipment:

Skutt 1227
Olympic Gas Kiln Model 1827G w/ Ignition System
Axner M-600 Wheel
2'x6' Wedging table with storage compartments underneath
2'x24' Metal Storage Racks for raw materials
Tons of Raw Materials (some nice rare ones too!)
Ohaus Adventure Pro Analytical Scale
Air Compressor (with all the air tools you would ever need)
Power Tools, Hand tools and everything else you would need as far as tools are concerned

I have much more that I will have in the studio if you allow me. As I said, I don't have any money that I can spend on rent, but I will consider selling all of my work at a commission rate that we both agree on to cover my end of the deal.

My name is Sarah. I am an Oil Painter and I do Pastel Drawings. In addition I do some Water Colors, Charcoal, Leather Work, Dream Catchers, etc..

I am searching for an Art Patron to fund my commitment to making Art.
I have had the blessing of having an Art Patron in the past when I was shoulder to shoulder with some great artists and living in Taos, New Mexico. Now I am back in my home town and simply thrilled with the growing art community here in Waukesha. I will continue to believe by making art I can help it grow!

As is known, it is hard to both be an Artist and work full time to support ones self. Therefore you either lose the dream or become a "Starving Artist". I refuse to allow either in my life. I was recently laid off and in my sudden jolt of life changing times I find I have been working too much and making Art too little since my relocation to Waukesha.

I believe it is my destiny to continue to make Art. It soothes my heart, mind and soul to create it and those who look upon it, feel it too. Thus, if you are looking to encourage this fate for a young artist, here I am.

These are some of my present goals I am looking for assistance in:

1.) To obtain an art studio space that I can work full time in.
2.) To obtain more art supplies.

My education is 5 year at The Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, and I have had one published piece for Milwaukee's First Stage Children's Theater.

I am currently looking to add 2-3 artists to a group show I am organizing at the Madison Common Wealth Gallery. The show theme deals with artists who incorporate text into their work - no restricitions on medium. Show details are as follows:

Opening reception: Friday, November 7th from 6:30 - 9:00
